Sarah Boadu’s design and dressmaking career started at the tender age of 14. While playing with her mother’s sewing machine, she discerned a love and passion for sewing and fabrics and taught herself how to do alterations, she also started customising pieces from her own wardrobe. A couple of years later, the frustration of not being a standard high street size led Sarah to begin making her own clothes for a perfect fit. After much persuasion this hobby was taken to the next level and she started to sew bespoke clothes for family and friends as well, through word of mouth this soon developed into external clients and Sarah began a business sewing bespoke garments for women.

Sarah has since then increased her clientele and it was when she did work experience for Ralph and Russo, one of the most iconic couture houses in the world, that she discovered a love and passion for haute couture. Sarah has worked as a freelance seamstress for some of the most renowned fashion companies in the world including bridal brand Pronovias.

After further training and more work experience, Sarah has now combined her passion for couture and all her skills attained over the years to create a brand that encapsulates the beauty of clothing. With each garment delicately hand-crafted for individual clients, the Sarah Boadu atelier understands the sartorial needs of women, ensuring each woman is left satisfied before, during and after the creation of each piece.

Sarah and her team are now considered one of Londons most talented dressmakers catering for every clients requirements whether its a wedding, red carpet event, birthday, celebrations or proms.

As well as running a business; Sarah also manages her household. Sarah is happily married; with three young children aged 1, 3 and 5. She has proven that if you have a passion, there are no limitations and anything is possible.
